EGR ACADEMIC AND FINE ARTS BOOSTERS ORGANIZATIONS

EGR Academic and Fine Arts Boosters Organizations (public-facing as EGR Music Boosters and associated booster groups) is a parent-run 501(c)(3) organization that supports East Grand Rapids Public Schools’ academic and performing arts programs. The organization is legally registered with EIN 27-4685393 and operates fundraising, grant, and scholarship programs to supplement school department budgets and broaden student access to music and arts education.

In recent years the Boosters have run recurring community fundraisers (including an annual Winter/Ham sale and other events), provided departmental grants to every school music teacher, funded accompanists and enrichment instructors, and offered financial assistance and scholarships so students can attend private lessons and summer music programs. The organization continues to be an active, donor-facing nonprofit with an up-to-date web presence and ongoing program activity supporting hundreds of East Grand Rapids students each year.
