About CASA OF ADAMS & BROOMFIELD COUNTIES
CASA of Adams & Broomfield Counties (CASA 17th) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated in 1999 that serves the 17th Judicial District of Colorado by recruiting, training, and supervising Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers.
CASA volunteers are court‑appointed to advocate for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, or chronic school absence; the program is part of the National CASA network and focuses on helping children obtain safe, permanent homes and access to needed supports.
In recent years CASA 17th has expanded volunteer support systems (including a peer coordinator program), held major fundraising and community events (Light of Hope, Indulge for CASA), and publicly reported program impact metrics for fiscal year 2023 and onward.
