About NEW AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT CENTER
New American Development Center (NADC) is a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on community and economic development for East African and other immigrant communities in Minnesota. The organization provides a mix of services including housing and emergency financial assistance, business development and financial literacy supports, and community-focused programming such as after-school meal and youth services. NADC has grown its operations and balance sheet substantially in recent years and has participated in federal and state community development funding programs to expand lending and technical assistance capacity. The organization is led by an executive director and a volunteer board and files annual Form 990 disclosures with the IRS.
