About DOBBS FERRY FOOD PANTRY INC

Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry Inc is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) food pantry based at South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry, New York. The pantry was founded in 2011 and serves residents of Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley, Irvington and nearby pockets of Greenburgh. The pantry operates weekly (Wednesday mornings, with extended hours the last Wednesday of some months), provides home delivery for those who cannot travel, and relies on a combination of monetary contributions, in-kind donations, and a formal partnership with Feeding Westchester to secure food. It typically serves about 100 families per week and during the COVID-19 pandemic at times served as many as ~150 families (approximately 600 people) in a week. In recent years the organization has formalized operations (incorporating as a New York not-for-profit in 2024), continued community fundraising and benefit events (including a January 22, 2026 All‑Star Jazz benefit), and maintained active collaboration with local churches, schools and food-rescue partners to expand fresh-produce and grocery distributions.

Notable achievements
