Marystrong Foundation
To honor Mary Stegmueller’s memory by funding research into DIPG and other rare pediatric brain tumors, supporting affected children and their families with practical and emotional resources, and creating educational opportunities for aspiring veterinarians.
About Marystrong Foundation
Marystrong Foundation is a small U.S.-based nonprofit founded to commemorate Mary Stegmueller’s life and to address the needs of children diagnosed with DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma). The foundation focuses on three pillars: grantmaking for pediatric brain tumor research, direct family support, and programs that inspire and support future veterinary professionals.
Operating as a registered 501(c)(3), Marystrong runs care-package and family-support programs, installs small educational 'mini vet' play clinics in veterinary waiting rooms, awards educational support for veterinary pathways, and organizes fundraising and remembrance events (including grief retreats and awareness-month fundraisers).
