About RESEARCH ADVOCACY NETWORK INC

Research Advocacy Network (RAN) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Plano, Texas (formed in 2003) that builds bridges between patient advocates and the cancer research community to improve study design, trial enrollment, and the dissemination of research findings. RAN operates the Advocate Institute and a set of learning pathways (including a free Research Advocacy Basics self-paced course) and delivers training and virtual programming for individual advocates and organizations. In the last 2–3 years RAN has continued virtual events (CONNECT series), published educational resources, and maintained public Form 990 filings reporting revenue of $352,090 for fiscal 2023 and continuing operations into 2024.
