About WASTE NOT WANT NOT INC

Waste Not Want Not Inc is a volunteer-supported, donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Orange Park, Florida that rescues surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, caterers and farms and redistributes it to community partners across Northeast Florida. The organization operates across a multi-county service area (14 counties), working with roughly 100 community distribution partners (food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, daycare and senior centers) and a large volunteer force. In recent years Waste Not Want Not has reported rescuing on the order of millions of pounds of food annually and significant volunteer engagement, and it has published annual reports and Form 990 filings reflecting continued program growth and fundraising activity. In the last 2–3 years the charity has continued to scale operations, published annual impact reporting, and undertaken a facility expansion project to increase refrigerated and distribution capacity so it can rescue and redistribute more perishable food across its service area.
