About AMERICAN STUDENT DENTAL ASSOCIATION - COLORADO CHAPTER
Colorado ASDA is the student chapter of the American Student Dental Association at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. The chapter organizes advocacy, service, professional development and social programs that support dental students and predoctoral entrants in Colorado.
Colorado ASDA operates as a student-run chapter affiliated with the national ASDA. It is a tax-exempt student/organizational chapter classified under a business/membership exemption (not a public 501(c)(3) charity); donations to the chapter are not treated as tax-deductible charitable contributions.
Notable achievements
ASDASH 5K fundraising success (2024)
The chapter's annual ASDASH 5K (fall 2024) raised funds—over $3,500 was directed to support veterans in need of dental care.
Sustained predental & clinical resources
Maintains an active clinical database, predental resources and an editorial blog (The Colorado Quickset) that support students' education and applications.
Campus and community partnerships
Regular collaborations with campus groups, local dental societies and community organizations to expand service, wellness and educational programming.
