About San Francisco Community Radio
San Francisco Community Radio (doing business as KXSF 102.5 FM) is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit community radio organization that operates a low-power FM station and a 24/7 online stream. The station is volunteer-run, produces a mix of music, cultural and public-affairs programming, and provides hands-on radio education and training for students and community members. In addition to on-air programming, the organization runs partnerships and training projects with local schools and youth organizations to teach radio production and media skills.
Notable achievements

Established sustained education partnerships
Built ongoing educational programming with local institutions, including collaborations with Lycée Français, San Francisco State University students, City College broadcasting students, and a May 2023 partnership with the Salesian Boys & Girls Club to train youth in radio production and air student-produced shows.
Maintained year-round service and financial sustainability
Operates a continuous 24/7 online stream while broadcasting scheduled FM hours, and sustained donor and underwriting support through local fundraising and underwriting programs to support volunteer-driven operations.
