About Purdue University Fort Wayne Foundation, Inc.
The Purdue Fort Wayne Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to solicit, receive and steward private philanthropic resources exclusively for the benefit of Purdue University Fort Wayne. It has operated since 1958 and is governed by its own board of directors.
The foundation accepts and manages a broad range of gifts (current-use, endowments, planned gifts, and real property), and its investment portfolio is managed on its behalf so that gifts support student scholarships, academic programs, campus facilities, athletics, and community-engaged initiatives.
In the past 2–3 years the foundation has been active in campus development and capital projects (including supporting a major public–private student housing development on foundation-owned land in 2024) and reported financial activity consistent with its most recent Form 990 (FY2024) with annual revenues in the low millions and total assets in the low tens of millions.
