The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or daughter, a brother or sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.

About THE COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS, INC.

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is a U.S.-based nonprofit peer-support organization focused on bereavement after the death of a child. It operates through a national network of local chapters, virtual communities, educational resources, and national events to offer emotional support and practical guidance.

Founded from an idea that peer-to-peer sharing aids healing, TCF maintains a national office that supports chapters, operates a helpline and online support options, publishes resources for grieving families and professionals, and organizes annual events to connect bereaved family members across the U.S. and internationally.
