About LISTENING HOUSE OF ST PAUL INC

Listening House of St. Paul is a daytime drop-in resource center and low‑barrier sanctuary that provides hospitality, practical assistance, and referrals to adults experiencing homelessness, deep poverty, and social isolation. Services include hot meals, showers, lockers, mail access, clothing, basic hygiene supplies, connection to health and housing partners, and a staffed, trauma‑informed community space. In December 2023 Listening House moved into a permanently owned and renovated facility at 421 E. 7th Street on St. Paul’s East Side, expanding on-site services such as showers, a commercial kitchen, and private meeting space for partners. The organization reports serving on the order of hundreds of unique guests each week (serving 100+ people daily on busy days) and several thousand visits per year, functioning as a community hub and referral point for shelter, medical, and behavioral-health supports.
