About Zorongo Flamenco, Inc.

Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theatre was founded in 1982 in Minneapolis by Artistic Director Susana di Palma and presents both traditional flamenco programs and original theater-flamenco works. The company is composed of an ensemble of dancers and musicians known for bringing the power, passion, and virtuosity of flamenco to regional and national audiences. Zorongo operates an active school and community program that offers classes, in-studio concerts, student showings, guest-artist residencies, and outreach performances at public venues and festivals. The organization emphasizes tradition, artistic excellence, collaboration, community belonging, and social commitment while developing new repertory and hosting visiting artists and collaborations with other regional companies.
