About La Oportunidad Inc.

La Oportunidad Inc. is a bilingual/bicultural 501(c)(3) community organization based in Minneapolis that has served the Twin Cities since 1987. It provides youth development, leadership and career-pathway programs, parenting supports, and domestic violence prevention services tailored to Latino families and young people. The organization operates multiple program lines — including after-school and summer youth programs, a Young Professionals career-pathways program, a Latinos Ending Abuse Program (LEAP), parenting programming, and a community television program — and partners with local schools and foundations to expand opportunities for Latinx youth.
