SOLID GROUND
Preventing and ending homelessness for families with children in the communities we serve through housing, resources, and opportunity.
About SOLID GROUND
Solid Ground is an award‑winning Minnesota nonprofit that provides housing and supportive services to families with children in suburban Ramsey and Washington Counties. The organization operates a portfolio of transitional, supportive, and scattered‑site housing programs paired with case management and workforce supports to help families achieve long‑term stability. At the heart of Solid Ground’s work is the belief that stable housing is fundamental to child well‑being and a family’s ability to thrive; the organization currently operates multiple programs serving well over a thousand individuals annually. In recent years Solid Ground has completed a capital renovation of its East Metro Place site, expanded program capacity, and secured grants focused on employment and housing stability.
