About QUANEX FOUNDATION

The Quanex Foundation is the private, corporate foundation sponsored by Quanex Building Products and operates as a 501(c)(3) private foundation. It supports community organizations, employee-focused scholarship programs, matching gift initiatives and an employee relief fund to assist workers and their families. Since 2019 the foundation reports having made more than $2 million in charitable donations and lists targeted support in recent years for veterans and first responders (beginning in 2022) and for family literacy programs (supported through 2022). The foundation also reports COVID-19 relief giving in 2020 (more than $500,000) and ongoing scholarship awards to children of employees. The foundation sponsors the William A. McHattie and Bill & Iris Griffiths scholarship programs, awarding educational funds to four qualifying students each year (children of employees).
