About WVU ROCKY MOUNTAIN ALUMNI CHAPTER
The WVU Rocky Mountain Alumni Chapter is a regional chapter of the West Virginia University Alumni Association based in the Denver area that brings together alumni, students, parents and friends across Colorado and neighboring states.
The chapter runs regular social and networking events (including televised game watches), supports student recruitment, operates an annual scholarship program (established 2006) and conducts fundraising and community-service initiatives such as seasonal charity drives and scholarship endowment efforts.
Notable achievements
Rocky Mountain Chapter Scholarship
Established a chapter scholarship in 2006 to support students from the region attending WVU; awarded annually and funded by chapter donations.
Endowment fundraising campaign
Launched a campaign to convert the chapter scholarship to an endowed fund (target $25,000) to provide perpetual scholarship support.
Regional leadership recognition
Chapter leadership and volunteers have been recognized by the WVU Alumni Association for outstanding service in strengthening regional alumni engagement.
