About GRANDVILLE EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Grandville Education Foundation (GEF) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) public charity that raises funds and awards grants to support innovative programs, classroom projects, and student experiences within Grandville Public Schools. GEF has operated since the early 1990s and positions itself as a seed funder for projects that extend learning beyond the district’s baseline budget.

In recent years GEF has actively run annual grant cycles, hosted community fundraising events (sports nights, picture fundraisers, and seasonal campaigns such as Giving Tuesday), and publicized grant outcomes on its website and local education news outlets. The foundation’s grant portfolio over the last 2–3 years includes STEM activities, arts inclusion, career/technical experiences, and classroom innovations that have been highlighted by local school media and district communications.

GEF maintains regular donor-facing activity (open donation pathways, event ticketing, and an annual appeal) and files IRS Form 990 returns as a public charity; recent filings indicate positive net assets and operating revenue that support ongoing grantmaking and event programming.
