About CHERRY STREET SERVICES FOUNDATION
Cherry Street Services Foundation (doing business as Cherry Health Foundation) is the philanthropic arm of Cherry Health (Cherry Street Services, Inc.), a large Federally Qualified Health Center based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Foundation raises and administers donor funds to support Cherry Health’s network of primary care, dental, vision, and behavioral health services across more than 20 locations in West Michigan.
The Foundation channels philanthropic investments to remove barriers to care (transportation, prescription costs, school-based services, emergency supplies) and to expand high-impact programs such as medication-assisted treatment (MAT), mobile vision services, school-based health, and behavioral health access. Through donor support, Cherry Health serves nearly 58,000 patients annually, with a very high proportion of patients at or below poverty levels.
The Foundation maintains a public web presence with published donor impact reports and the organization’s IRS Form 990s; it operates as a donor-facing nonprofit supporting measurable programmatic outcomes and capital needs for Cherry Health’s clinical operations.
