About GIRLS CHORAL ACADEMY

Girls Choral Academy (GCA) is a long-standing, donor-facing 501(c)(3) arts education organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan that provides choral training and performance opportunities for girls from elementary through high school. GCA’s programs include neighborhood after-school choirs, a campus choir program, summer camps, internships, and touring/performance opportunities that emphasize musical skills, leadership, and self-confidence.

Founded as a girls music school and registered as a tax-exempt public charity in the late 1990s, GCA operates with an active web presence and an ongoing calendar of concerts, community performances, and fundraising events. In recent years the organization has maintained regular community partnerships, multi-year grant support, and annual benefit events to underwrite scholarships and program operations.
