About AFRICA DEVELOPMENT PROMISE
Africa Development Promise (ADP) is a U.S.-based nonprofit (EIN 38-3909756) that has worked in Rwanda and Uganda since 2014 to advance economic independence for rural women through cooperative development, agribusiness support, and skills training.
ADP combines cooperative capacity building, technical agricultural assistance, and vocational/business training (computer literacy, sewing, and micro-business development) to help women and youth create diversified, climate-resilient livelihoods and access markets and finance.

ADP is a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 38-3909756) and has maintained tax-exempt status since obtaining IRS recognition.
Launched Vocational Training Program (2019)
Established a multi-track vocational training program in Uganda (computer literacy, sewing, and entrepreneurship) that runs regular cohort cycles and offers seed funding and certification pathways.
Signature fundraising & awareness events
Organized large donor and public engagement events—including a Spring Gala (March 4, 2023) and a 10-year anniversary luncheon—to raise funds and broaden visibility for ADP’s programs.
