Camp Roger

Camp Roger is a long-established, nonprofit Christian camp based in Rockford, Michigan that operates overnight camp programs at its Rockford campus and day camp (Camp Scottie) programs in Howard City. The organization provides summer camps, outdoor-education field trips, year-round retreats and facility rentals with a faith-centered program model. In recent years Camp Roger has expanded its inclusivity and support services—adding on-site summer mental-health and educational support, flexible pricing and transportation options, and scholarship partnerships (including Prison Fellowship/Angel Tree Camping) to reduce financial barriers to participation. The organization also maintains community partnerships and a resale shop (The Acorn) to support programming and access for under-resourced families. Camp Roger remains active and donor-facing, continuing seasonal programming, community partnerships, and leadership renewal (including a July 2026 appointment of a new Executive Director) while serving thousands of children through camp and outdoor-education experiences each year.
