Polish Heritage Society

The Polish Heritage Society of Grand Rapids is a volunteer-run cultural nonprofit that organizes events, awards scholarships, and supports local Polish-Lithuanian cultural groups in West Michigan. It operates as a certified 501(c)(3) and maintains an active web presence, monthly newsletters, and community programming. The Society is best known locally for organizing the Dożynki Polish Harvest Festival and for civic projects such as monument restorations and cultural exhibits.

In the past 2–3 years the Society has expanded fine-arts programming, continued scholarship awards, and increased public outreach through regular newsletters and partnerships with local cultural institutions. The organization publishes monthly newsletters, runs a scholarship program for students of Polish descent, and supports local dance and performance groups. Ongoing activities include the traditional Wigilia dinner, Matka Boska Zielna events, and stewardship of local memorials important to the Polish-American community.
