About THE FAMILY PARTNERSHIP

The Family Partnership is a Minneapolis-based nonprofit (founded 1878) that provides culturally responsive, two-generation services to children, caregivers and families experiencing deep poverty and trauma. Programs include therapeutic early childhood education and care, family home visiting, mental health and developmental therapies, and long-running anti‑sex‑trafficking services. The organization emphasizes measurable outcomes and whole‑family approaches to close opportunity gaps; its preschools and home‑visiting efforts are explicitly designed to improve kindergarten readiness and family economic stability. In recent years The Family Partnership has expanded community resource centers and updated its mental health services while continuing to report strong preschool outcomes (see achievements).
