CHILDRENS HOME SOCIETY OF MINNESOTA

Children’s Home Society of Minnesota (dba Children’s Home) is a donor-facing, operating nonprofit headquartered in Saint Paul that provides adoption, foster care, pregnancy services, post‑adoption support, education and training, and related family supports. The organization operates domestic and international adoption programs, foster care services including kinship/relative caregiver supports, and a range of post‑adoption and family education offerings. In recent years Children’s Home deepened an operational partnership with Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) and formally completed a merger that makes Children’s Home the adoption and foster care service of LSS while preserving its programmatic brand and staff. The organization continues active fundraising campaigns, public education (webinars and training), and seasonal donor drives to support children in care. Children’s Home traces its institutional roots to 1889 (and its LSS partner to 1865), and in its most recent reporting the combined organization reported serving thousands of children, families and caregivers through direct services, information, training and support.
