About NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE

Neighborhood House is a multi-service nonprofit based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, founded in 1897 and focused on serving refugees, immigrants, low-income families, and other neighbors in crisis. The organization combines basic-needs programming (food markets, fresh produce events, housing stability and family centers) with education and enrichment services (adult education, early childhood and youth literacy) so participants can stabilize today and build toward the future. In recent years Neighborhood House has expanded its footprint and services—opening Neighborhood House on Montreal in June 2024—and continues to operate two food markets, family coaching, housing assistance, and free education programs across multiple sites in St. Paul. Its integrated, culturally responsive approach centers families and explicitly targets immigrant and refugee communities while serving broad low-income and youth populations.
