About MISSIONS INC PROGRAMS

Missions Inc. Programs is a long-established Plymouth, Minnesota social-service nonprofit that operates a campus of services including emergency domestic violence shelter and legal advocacy (Home Free), supportive housing programs (Hart House, Mission Lodge, Smith Lodge, Mission Heights), a clinically managed withdrawal/detox center (Judy Retterath Withdrawal Management Center), and Mission Nursing Home. Its services focus on supporting people through substance use disorder treatment, transitional and supportive housing, and domestic-violence recovery, with on-site recovery supports and connections to medical and behavioral health care.

Founded in the 1890s and continuously operating for more than a century, the organization serves thousands annually through its shelter, housing, clinical, and advocacy programs. In recent years Missions Inc. has continued to expand clinical and housing capacity, maintain state licensing for care programs, and participate in statewide policy and community advocacy around access to substance use disorder treatment and domestic violence services.
