Vision Loss Resources, Inc.

Vision Loss Resources, Inc. (VLR) is a Minnesota-based nonprofit providing rehabilitation training, social supports, and education for people who are blind, have low vision, or are deafblind. Founded more than a century ago and incorporated in 1955, VLR operates programs across the Twin Cities metro area from its Little Canada campus and through its DeafBlind Services Minnesota subsidiary.

VLR delivers adjustment-to-blindness training, assistive-technology instruction, peer support, and community services, and operates Contract Production Services (a social enterprise) to help fund programs. In recent years VLR has expanded virtual supports and statewide deafblind services, providing thousands of hours of rehabilitation instruction and dozens of regular support groups to clients of all ages so they can adapt, connect, and thrive independently.
