About SENIOR COMMUNITY SERVICES

Senior Community Services is a Minnesota-based nonprofit (founded 1950) that provides free and low-cost programs to help older adults and their caregivers remain independent, safe, and socially connected in their homes and communities. The organization operates a range of services including household and outdoor maintenance (HOME), technology coaching, caregiver support, senior outreach, and affiliated senior centers in the Twin Cities area. SCS serves Hennepin, Wright, Sherburne, Carver, Scott, Anoka and Ramsey counties and combines paid staff and thousands of volunteers each year to deliver direct, community-based supports. In recent years the organization has expanded programming and funding partnerships (including Older Americans Act grants) and continues to host community-focused initiatives such as the annual Reimagine Aging conference and caregiver support offerings. SCS maintains public financial disclosure and active donor-facing channels, providing ongoing program updates, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising/legacy giving options through its website and community partnerships.
