INTERCONGREGATION COMMUNITIES ASSOCIATION INC

Intercongregation Communities Association (ICA), d/b/a ICA, is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Minnetonka that operates a large community food program and complementary stability services including housing assistance, job support, mental health referrals, and school-based markets. ICA uses a “choice” market model across multiple sites and partners (including school-based market/resource centers) to provide nutritious food, emergency assistance, case management and connections to resources. The organization has grown into a regional access point for food security and homelessness-prevention services while maintaining audited financials and active state registration. Recent organizational emphasis has been on decentralizing food access (community markets in schools), expanding housing stability work, and scaling client-centered services to meet sustained increases in demand since 2022.
