GILLETTE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

Gillette Children’s Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm that raises funds and builds awareness to support Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, a regional specialty pediatric hospital based in Saint Paul, MN. The Foundation focuses donor support on clinical care, family assistance, research, education and capital needs that enable children with complex, rare and traumatic conditions to live fuller lives. In recent years the Foundation has reported active support for a large portfolio of patient-centered research and direct family assistance: in 2025 Gillette reported nearly 30,000 individual patients served, over $4 million contributed to research supporting more than 100 active research studies, and approximately $3.3 million in grants to families to improve access to care. Donor-funded programs include research grants, equipment and technology purchases, family support programs, and facility improvements. The Foundation operates as the fundraising and awareness entity affiliated with Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare; the Foundation’s resources are directed to further the hospital’s clinical leadership, research, and advocacy work for children and families living with brain, bone and movement conditions.
