About COMPAS, Inc.
COMPAS, Inc. is a Minnesota-based arts education nonprofit that connects professional teaching artists with schools, libraries, community organizations, older-adult residences, justice-involved programs, and other community sites across the state. The organization designs and delivers in-person and virtual residencies, workshops, performances, and curriculum-integrated classroom programs intended to increase access to the arts for people of all ages and abilities. COMPAS maintains a roster of more than 130 teaching artists and ensembles and partners with hundreds of schools and community organizations statewide, reaching communities in roughly 100 Minnesota towns. In recent years COMPAS has continued to operate actively and publicly (audited financial statements and an annual impact report are available), celebrating its 50th anniversary as an incorporated organization and reporting sustained program delivery and community reach in its most recent fiscal filings.
