About MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS INC
The Minnesota Association of Community Mental Health Programs (MACMHP) is a statewide membership association headquartered in St. Paul that represents community-based mental and chemical health providers across Minnesota. Its membership network includes dozens of community mental health programs that together serve well over 200,000 Minnesotans each year.
MACMHP provides public policy advocacy, training and technical assistance, and member services; it also operates Convergence Integrated Care (CIC), a clinically integrated network designed to support coordinated, value-based care and shared quality standards across member agencies. The organization positions itself as the safety-net voice for culturally diverse, low-income, uninsured, and publicly insured Minnesotans with complex behavioral health needs.
In the last 2–3 years MACMHP has actively convened statewide events (including the Minnesota Crisis Response Summit), delivered mobile crisis training and continuing education, partnered on multi-state behavioral health initiatives, and engaged with state policymakers on crisis response and CCBHC/behavioral-health system reform efforts.
