About CHILDRENS SHELTER OF CEBU

Children's Shelter of Cebu (CSC) is a Minnesota‑based 501(c)(3) that operates a long‑running residential care campus and licensed school in Cebu, Philippines, serving orphaned, abandoned, surrendered and vulnerable children. The organization provides residential homes, an in‑house school (Cebu Children of Hope School), medical and therapeutic services, life‑skills training for young adults, and programs to facilitate family reunification and adoption. In recent years CSC has continued program and facilities development for older residents, maintained a licensed school program and expanded transitional‑living supports. In 2023 CSC reported serving roughly 80–85 residents across its programs, placing children into adoptive families and reunifying others with birth family members while fundraising to support operating needs and capital projects for housing older residents.

CSC reported raising more than $2.6 million to meet annual operating goals and to fund capital work (including construction to house older residents and support transitional living and training programs).
