(ACBES) is a wholly owned nonprofit subsidiary of the American Council of the Blind based in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that operates a network of thrift stores and resale operations across the United States. The subsidiary’s primary purpose is to generate revenue through retail (thrift) operations and contribute those net proceeds to fund the programs and services of the parent organization.
