MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF MINNESOTA
Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
About MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF MINNESOTA
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Minnesota (Make-A-Wish Minnesota) is the state chapter of the national Make‑A‑Wish network that creates life-changing wishes for children ages 2½–18 who face critical illnesses. The chapter raises funds, recruits and trains volunteers, and partners with medical providers and community organizations across all 87 Minnesota counties to identify eligible children and deliver wishes. In recent years the chapter has expanded local fundraising and community partnerships to increase capacity: it reported multi-year growth in wishes granted (including a notable increase in 2024), sustained volunteer engagement, and six-figure gala fundraising that supports wish granting and program operations. The organization positions each wish as an intervention that supports children’s emotional well-being and family resilience during medical treatment.
