About Women Venture (WomenVenture)
Women Venture (branded WomenVenture) is a Saint Paul, Minnesota–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and SBA-designated Women’s Business Center that provides training, one-on-one consulting, and access to capital for women entrepreneurs. The organization was formed by the merger of CHART and WEDCO and focuses on helping women attain economic self-sufficiency through business ownership. In recent years WomenVenture has scaled both its lending and program services: it reports deploying over $2.1 million in loans in the most recent fiscal year and operating with multi-million-dollar annual revenues and program expenditures (most recent fiscal year revenue approximately $4.3M with roughly $3.0M spent on program services).
