About CORNERSTONE ADVOCACY SERVICE

Cornerstone Advocacy Service is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides crisis response, advocacy, counseling, legal advocacy, housing and prevention services for people affected by domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking and general crime. The organization operates both direct local services and statewide access points to connect survivors to immediate help and long-term stabilization. In recent years Cornerstone has expanded its statewide reach through the Minnesota Day One® program and related statewide hotlines and support lines. Cornerstone reports providing thousands of hotline contacts and hundreds of crisis housing placements and therapy sessions in its most recent annual reporting period, and completed a 2024 strategic planning process and leadership transition to strengthen program continuity and financial sustainability.
