About THE WORKS

THE WORKS (The Works Museum) is a hands-on engineering and design museum for children and families in Bloomington, Minnesota. The museum uses interactive exhibits, workshops, camps, and school programs to make engineering and STEM concepts accessible and playful for young learners. The organization operates year-round public exhibits and extensive educator- and group-facing programs (field trips, outreach, camps), and runs the Gateway access program to provide free or subsidized STEM experiences to underserved families. In recent years the museum has undertaken a Transformation Initiative to renovate exhibits and expand outreach while reporting steady growth in participants and revenues.
