About Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC) is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) wildlife hospital and rehabilitation organization based in Roseville, MN. It operates a full-time veterinary hospital, admits injured, sick and orphaned wild animals year-round, and provides public guidance, volunteer and internship programs. In 2023 WRC experienced its second-busiest year, admitting roughly 18,808 patients representing about 200 species, and reports more than 318,000 total admissions since its founding in 1979. The center accepts transfers of challenging medical cases from independently-permitted rehabilitators and provides clinical training and education to veterinary students and peers. WRC is actively fundraising for a multiyear capital campaign to expand rehabilitation capacity (additional wards, pools and an auxiliary campus) to respond to sustained growth in admissions and community demand. The organization publishes audited financial statements and operates daily, 365 days a year, from its Roseville facility.
