About SPRINGBOARD FOR THE ARTS

Springboard for the Arts is an artist-centered nonprofit based in Saint Paul, Minnesota (with a second office and program hub in Fergus Falls) that provides professional development, fiscal sponsorship, grantmaking, space and equipment, and community-based arts programs to support artists and creative ecosystems. The organization operates career services and microgrants for artists, a national Creative Exchange platform for sharing models and tools, and a fiscal sponsorship program that has distributed substantial funding to artist-led projects and organizations. In the past 2–3 years Springboard expanded rural programming out of Fergus Falls, launched sustainability and business-skills initiatives for artists, distributed Growth Fund and other artist grants, and participated in multi-partner initiatives supported by the National Endowment for the Arts.
