Community Emergency Service (CES) is a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides food and home-delivered meals, pet support, and related basic-needs services to low-income and homebound neighbors. CES operates a large Food Market, a significant Meals on Wheels/home-delivery program, and the Ani-Meals program that delivers pet food and basic pet care to clients. Founded in 1971 as an outreach ministry, CES has grown into a long-standing community organization that now reaches nearly 150,000 neighbors each year through direct service and partnerships.
