MINNESOTA CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL NETWORK

Minnesota Child Care Resource and Referral Network (doing business as Child Care Aware of Minnesota) is the statewide coordinating organization that supports local child care resource and referral agencies, early childhood educators, and families seeking quality child care. The organization operates and partners on statewide initiatives including Parent Aware (Minnesota’s quality rating and improvement system), workforce development programs, and scholarship/bonus programs to strengthen the early care and education system. In the last several years the organization has administered state and federal grant funds, delivered professional development and scholarship programs (including TEACH Early Childhood Minnesota and REETAIN bonuses), hosted the Katie Williams CARE Public Policy Fellowship, and published yearly program summaries (Year in Review) describing work across its program areas and its policy/advocacy efforts on behalf of the early childhood field.
