About THE BASILICA LANDMARK

The Basilica Landmark is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to steward, preserve, and fund the long-term restoration and programming of the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis. The organization raises philanthropic support, manages capital preservation projects, and produces educational and community initiatives that maintain the building’s historic, cultural, and liturgical role. In recent years The Basilica Landmark has led a major multi-year restoration initiative (“Restoring Beauty, Inspiring Hope”), published an annual report (2025) describing campaign progress and governance, and sustained grant- and gift-driven repair and conservation work to keep the basilica open and accessible to visitors, worshippers, and the wider public.
