PORTICO HEALTHNET

Portico Healthnet is a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps uninsured and underinsured Minnesotans enroll in health coverage and navigate the health care system through certified enrollment navigators and culturally competent outreach. Founded in 1995 (originally MetroEast Program for Health), Portico provides enrollment assistance, health literacy, care navigation, and training for MNsure navigators across the state. Portico emphasizes culturally and linguistically appropriate services, adding bilingual navigators (including Hmong, Karen, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese speakers) to reach immigrant and refugee communities and low-income households.
