About APPLE VALLEY ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

The Apple Valley Rotary Scholarship Foundation is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Apple Valley, incorporated in the late 1990s to manage scholarship endowments and community grantmaking for Apple Valley and surrounding communities. The foundation supports scholarships for Apple Valley High School, Eastview High School and Dakota County Technical College, funds teacher and youth awards, and donates to local and international projects aligned with the club’s priorities. ([applevalleyrotary.org](https://applevalleyrotary.org/page/spring-bbq-bash))

The foundation is an active, donor-facing 501(c)(3) public charity (established in 1997) that raises funds through in-person events (Spring BBQ, raffles, pickleball tournament and related fundraisers) and awards project grants and scholarships. Recent activity includes community project grants (for example, a $1,500 project grant to Burnsville YMCA in 2023) and continued annual fundraising; the foundation reported FY2024 financials and Form 990 filings documenting revenue, expenses, and roughly $0.4–0.5M in assets. Active, recurring fundraisers

Regular events—Spring BBQ & Raffle, an annual Pickleball Tournament, raffles and other community fundraisers—provide the primary fundraising pipeline used to support scholarships and grants.
