About REGIONS HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

Regions Hospital Foundation is the fundraising arm for Regions Hospital (part of the HealthPartners system), soliciting philanthropic gifts to support patient care, medical research, staff education and capital needs. The foundation partners with individual donors, corporate funders and private foundations to direct resources toward clinical programs, facility upgrades and community health priorities. As the supporting charity for a long-standing safety-net and Level I trauma hospital serving the Twin Cities east metro and surrounding region, the foundation has focused recent fundraising on emergency care, mental health access, cancer care and equity-focused programs to expand access to high-quality care for underserved populations. The foundation is governed by a volunteer board and operates as a donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit within the HealthPartners foundations network.

Major capital grants (2024)

Secured multi-million-dollar philanthropic grants in 2024 to support capital improvements and clinical program expansion, including significant gifts designated for emergency department and clinical infrastructure upgrades.

Regions Responds First campaign

Led and supported an emergency and mental health fundraising campaign to expand behavioral health capacity and emergency services, mobilizing community and foundation donors during 2023–2025.
