About EASTVIEW HOCKEY ASSOCIATION
Eastview Hockey Association (EVHA) is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) youth hockey organization serving families in Apple Valley and the Eastview High School attendance area. The association organizes age-group teams (mites through travel age groups), player-development programming, summer camps and clinics, and hosts tournaments and seasonal events to support on-ice skill growth. EVHA operates through an elected board, standing committees (Player Development, Ice, Concessions, Hosted Tournaments, etc.), and a coach/volunteer structure that requires background screening and coach education consistent with Minnesota Hockey/USA Hockey guidance. The association maintains financial policies, a scholarship program to assist families in need, and an active calendar of fundraisers and community engagement activities. EVHA is an established community sports organization (tax-exempt since 2000) with ongoing operations documented in recent handbooks, board minutes, and program materials; it continues to run tryouts, development camps, hosted tournaments and district playoff participation on a yearly basis.
