About LOS OLIVOS CIS

Los Olivos CIS is the U.S.-based 501(c)(3) partner organization that raises funds and coordinates donor support for CIS (Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad) programs in El Salvador. The organization concentrates on scholarships, youth leadership and training, community development (including housing and clean-water projects), emergency aid, and human-rights advocacy. Los Olivos CIS operates as a donor-facing nonprofit that channels grants and individual contributions to program partners in El Salvador, supports delegations and exchange programs, and maintains an active board to oversee grantmaking and U.S. fundraising. In recent years the organization has continued scholarship and leadership programs, led emergency relief efforts during extreme weather events, and supported community housing and water-filter initiatives.
