About LIVING SERVICES FOUNDATION
Living Services Foundation (LSF) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1996 that develops, owns, and operates long-term care and senior housing campuses. The organization focuses on providing a continuum of care—skilled nursing, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, outpatient therapy and home health services—rooted in local community needs. LSF currently owns and operates two Minnesota campuses (St. Clare Living Community of Mora and Minneota Manor) and has sponsored more than a dozen long-term care campuses during its history. The foundation describes itself as an award-winning developer and positions operational quality, community partnership, and integrity at the center of its work.
Notable achievements
Established long-term care network
Founded in 1996, LSF has sponsored over 13 long-term care campuses and developed lasting partnerships with local communities and care operators across Minnesota.
Strategic campus acquisitions
Expanded its direct operations through major campus acquisitions — including St. Clare Living Community of Mora (acquired 2009) and Minneota Manor (acquired 2013) — preserving local access to skilled nursing and assisted living.
Expanded continuum of care
Built out continuum services at owned campuses (skilled nursing, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation and, at St. Clare, a home health operation launched in recent years) to support transitions from hospital to community and in-place aging.
